The Coast Guard assisted San Mateo County Rescue personnel in medevacing a 68-year-old woman who became overdue for 8 hours after not returning from a hike the night before near Half Moon Bay, California, April 15, 2019. After San Mateo County Rescue personnel located the woman, the Coast Guard hoisted the woman due to rough terrain and transferred her to near by emergency medical services personnel.
