Ronald Decktor, a Vietnam Veteran who served with Troop Bravo, 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment as a scout sergeant, is proud to be apart of the legacy for the "Bandits" and would not hesitate if asked to do it all over again. Decktor recalls his visit to Vietnam after the war and that he was surprised to see his initials still carved on the rocks in the waterbed. (U.S. Army video by Staff Sgt. Felicia Jagdatt)
