High school students who are considering enlistment, participated in a unique rendition of the Guard for a Day (GFAD) program where they were exposed to basic soldiering skills as they integrated with the 2-218th over a drill weekend. They were also able to participate in live fire simulation, HMMWV Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT), combat maneuvering skills, and medical training.
