U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Amber English, a Colorado Springs, Colorado native with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, gives a shout out to all the women veterans in honor of Women's History Month.
English, who is an established competitive skeet shooter, joined the U.S. Army Reserve in 2017. With her unique talent, she was assigned to the Army's World Class Athlete program and attached to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit to train.
English has won numerous medals in skeet shooting since joining the Army. In 2018 she won: the Gold Medal at the 12th Championship of the Americas in Guadalajara, Mexico; the Bronze Medal at the International Shooting Sports Federation's World Cup in Changwon, Korea; and the Silver Medal at the International Shooting Sports Federation's World Cup in Siggiewi, Malta.
