GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Jan. 25, 2019) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. John Richardson and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Russell Smith are visiting Great Lakes to observe damage control and basic seamanship training for new recruits. Recruit Training Command has implemented a hands-on curriculum designed to train recruits on critical skills and core competencies to increase Force lethality.
