Short video package about A-10 Warthogs training at MacDill w/ interview from the 163rd Fighter Squadron Commander.
6 A-10 Warthog aircraft came to MacDill to train after a deployment, as a part of Operation Guardian Blitz II. The weather, easy access to Avon Park Air Force Range, lodging, and maintenance and operations facilities made MacDill the perfect place for these pilots and maintainers to train. The Air National Guard's 163rd Fighter Squadron are from the 122nd Fighter Wing, stationed out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
