Soldiers from Cassion Platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd U.S. Infantry Regimant (The Old Guard) Presidential Salute Battery, conduct the 21 gun salute to honor the death of George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United Sates, at the U.S. Capitol, Washington D.C., December 5, 2018. Nearly 4,000 military and civilian personnel from across all branches of the U.S. armed forces, including Reserve and National Guard components, provide ceremonial and civil affairs support during George H.W.
