Airmen of 176th Wing loaded boxes containing prescription drugs onto a 211th Rescue Squadron HC-130J Combat King II Nov. 6, 2018, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, for transport to Spokane, Washington, for incineration. Airmen of 176th Wing, members of the Alaska National Guard Counterdrug Support Program, and special agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration joined forces in the effort of transporting more than 4,000 pounds of prescription drugs turned in during Alaska’s biannual prescription drug takeback.
