EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 23, 2018) - CV-22 Ospreys assigned to the 353rd Special Operations Group, detachment 1, land on the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). The Air Force variant Osprey and MV-22 Ospreys, assigned to the "Flying Tigers" of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 reinforced, are conducting joint training aboard Wasp to enhance joint interoperability at sea. Wasp, Flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
