An estimated 22 veterans are lost to suicide each day. For Cpt. (Chaplain) Jason Davis and Cpt. Michael Brown with 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division that loss is unacceptable. They worked together as part of a collaborative effort with the Behavioral Health team at Winn Army Community Hospital to host the second annual CARS Against Suicide event. This two day event provided a safe space for veterans to come together as part of the dialogue on suicide awareness and prevention. Chaplain Davis was proud to be a part of this collaboration as the issue of veteran suicide hits close to home for him. Photojournalist Zach Rehnstrom has the story.
