Slovak Shield 2018 was a multifaceted collaboration of U.S. forces and NATO forces to test and refine tactical and operational capabilities.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Slovakian Army, Gen. Milan Maxim, thanked all participants and gave them well wishes for their future.
1-7 Cavalry Regiment is deployed to Europe as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort that demonstrates U.S commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
