    Chief Petty Officer Brad Fitzpatrick, the aviation survival technician shop supervisor at Air Station Atlantic City, works to rescue abandoned pets from a flooded home in North Carolina after Hurricane Florence swept though the area, Sept. 19, 2018. Fitzpatrick worked with other aircrews through out the day in extreme conditions, encountering submerged barbed wire fences, floating fire-ant beds, and chest-deep water to save lives.
