South Carolina Army National Guard Soldiers from the 122nd Engineer Battalion work with the S.C. Department of Transportation to place barriers along Highway 501 northbound in anticipation of flooding in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Florence. Approximately 3,200 South Carolina Soldiers and Airmen are on duty to respond to and assist with storm recovery.
