Lt. j.g. Daniel Rynard, a shallow-water response boat task force leader, discusses staging of rescue boats for the Coast Guard's North Carolina Hurricane Florence response, Sept. 15, 2018.

Rynard met with emergency operation center leaders across the state to discuss search and rescue tactics and operations and how the Coast Guard will support local and state agencies as Florence progresses through the state.
