The Diabetes Center of Excellence offers a unique biannual training experience for providers of diabetic care. The course blends traditional lectures with hands-on skills labs to help members form process improvement plans to take back to their clinics. The goal is to provide a standard of care across the military for diabetic patients at home or abroad. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine and the Veterans Health Association all took part in this most recent course, as well as overseas members via videoconference.
