Members of the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service and French forces competed against each other in a soccer game at the CTS training ground in Baghdad. Several nations in the coalition that trains, advises, and assists Iraqi Security Forces in the war against the Islamic State, to include Australia, Holland and Spain also participated in several games throughout the week. Sporting events like this football series, help to reinforce the growing partnership between Coalition Forces and Iraqi partner forces as the nation of Iraq moves into the next phase after the defeat of ISIS.
