A video shown to the public describing the items you can and cannot bring on base during the Warriors over the Wasatch Airshow, June 23-24 2018
Howdy folks! I’m Tim, and I work out on Hill Air Force Base. We’re excited to invite you to our place for the Warriors Over The Wasatch Air and Space Show, June 23rd & 24th.
We want you to come out and see first had the pride and precision of your United States Air Force. Admission is free. There will be security check points to screen all visitors so you can safely enjoy the show. Now we know going through checkpoints can be a little intimidating, so here are some things to remember.
You can’t bring weapons of any kind – no firearms, knives, pocket knives, multi-tools, or replica and toy weapons.
We don’t allow explosives of any kind, including fireworks.
You’ll be able to get up close and personal with the world’s most powerful military aircraft, so leave spark-producing devices like lighters and matches, e-cigarettes and vape pens at home. You won’t be able to smoke inside the venue.
You can’t bring coolers, unless they’re small coolers for baby food, formula or milk or medications.
We’re expecting a record crowd, so please folks, leave the tents, portable awnings and large lawn chairs at home. You can bring small folding camp chairs.
Don’t bring bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades and roller-skates.
More things to leave at home – laser pointers, digital scanners, glass containers and grills. No mace, pepper spray, personal Tasers, or stun guns. No outside alcohol or illegal drugs. We want you safe!
Leave your duffel bags and backpacks at home. Diaper bags are fine, and so are small purses, small camera cases and fanny packs.
Finally, leave your pets at home unless it’s a service animal assisting those with disabilities.
Now folks, I know the list of things you can’t bring is long, but here’s what you might consider bringing.
Bring some sunscreen and ear protection.
Bring your cameras – you’ll want to remember all the action! Clear water bottles are allowed, and there will be free water at a number of drinking fountains inside the venue. You can also bring in non-perishable food items IF they are pre-packaged and sealed.
There’ll be lots of food and souvenir vendors so bring cash! We’ll have ATM machines for you, but there’s usually a long line.
