Lt. Col. Matthew Trovinger, commander of the 7th Expeditionary Airborne Command and Control Squadron (EACCS) gives a 4th of July greeting to the Atlanta Braves while deployed to Southwest Asia. Lt. Col. Trovinger was surrounded by deployed Airmen from the 461st Air Control Wing, the 116th Air Control Wing (Georgia Air National Guard) and Soldiers from the 138th Military Intelligence Company. Deployers are comprised of active duty personnel, Georgia Air National Guardsmen and reservists from Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Deployers operate and support the E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS), an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platform designed to support to both air and ground forces.
