Civil Affairs Service Members with the 71st Theater Information Operations Group, based in Austin Texas and assigned to Operation Beyond the Horizon 2018, El Salvador meet with community key leaders at the El Salvador Army Headquarters’ to discuss the upcoming Medical Readiness exercises, May 17, 2018. The CA team is responsible for coordinating with local officials and communicating with the population surrounding American Humanitarian operations in the province. BTH 2018 is scheduled to conduct five of these MEDRETE’s in which humanitarian medical services for the local populous.
