The 82nd Airborne Division parachuted into Adazi Base, Latvia, with eight C-17 Globemaster III military transport aircraft. The soldiers donned parachutes and prepared equipment inside the aircraft to simulate a no-notice transatlantic Global Response Force (GRF) mission. Once on the ground in Latvia, the paratroopers conducted assaults and live fire exercises across multiple follow-on objectives.
