Col. Ben Skardon (ret) crosses his finish line at the 8 mile mark during the 2018 Bataan Death March at White Sands Missile Range. Skardon, who is 100 years old, fought in the Battle of Bataan and was captured by the Japanese and forced into what's now known as the Bataan Death March. He continues to march in the Memorial March at White Sands Missile Range to honor his friends and fellow Soldiers who died on the march and in captivity.
