Cultural Exchange with Matsuda-Town:
Narration:
Nearly twenty five students from various, elementary schools from Matsuda-Town in Kanagawa prefecture, recently visited Camp Zama’s Sagamihara Family Housing Area to see what American elementary school kids’ lives are like on an Army installation.
Interview: Robert L Chance III, School Liaison Officer, Child & Youth Services
Narration:
The students’ first stop was the School Age Center for a tour of the resource rooms American students spend their time in while enrolled in SAC’s after-school program followed by a visit to Arnn Elementary School to see a “day in the life” of an American student. The cultural exchange gave students the opportunity to interact with their young U.S. hosts as well as tasting some traditional American treats before leaving for the day.
