Capt. Michael O'Hagan, the public affairs officer for the New York Air National Guard's 106th Rescue
Wing will hold a media briefing at the Veterans of Foreign Wars building in Westhampton Beach this afternoon, March 20, at 2 p.m.
The briefing will cover the wing's support to the family members of the four Airmen killed in a March 15 helicopter crash in Iraq and provide information on the return of the Airmen's remains to New York.
Captain Michael O'Hagan, public affairs officer for the 106th Rescue Wing and Lisa D'Agostino, Airman and Family Program Readiness Manager for the 106th Rescue Wing, Major. Patrick McCartry, the 106th Rescue Wing Chaplain, and Melissa Macko, the wing's Director of Psychological Health.
An update for the press on the steps the 106th Rescue Wing is taking in providing services to the families of four Airmen - Capt. Christopher Zanetis, Capt. Andreas O'Keeffe, Master Sgt. Christopher Raguso and Staff Sgt. Dashan Briggs-who were killed in the helicopter crash on March 15. He will not discuss operational issues or the investigation into the accident.
