12th Air Force (AFSOUTH) and the 357th Life Support section welcomed members of the El Salvadoran Air Force to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona as part of a subject matter exchange March 6-8. Two El Salvadoran Air Force aircraft mechanics and two U.S. Air Force aircrew flight equipment craftsmen shared knowledge on night vision goggle calibration, preventative maintenance and storage, as well as aircrew flight equipment shop functions and procedures. These exchanges strengthen the relationship between the U.S. and partner nation air forces, and provide an opportunity for subject matter experts to meet and learn from each other.
