One U.S. Army Fire Support Officer, two Field Artillery Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment Batteries and one 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery Battery of the British Royal Army come together to enhance interoperability and unit cohesion during a joint fires mission at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, Mar. 6 - 8, 2018. These missions were executed as part of exercise Dynamic Front 18 which includes approximately 3,700 participants from 26 nations at the U.S. Army’s GTA, Feb. 23 - March 10, 2018. Dynamic Front is an annual U.S. Army Europe exercise focused on the interoperability of U.S. Army, joint service and allied nation artillery and fire support in a multinational environment, from theater-level headquarters identifying targets to gun crews pulling lanyards in the field.
