Recruits at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego have the opportunity to tackle several events during training, and one of those is the Confidence Course. Many of the obstacles in the event test the recruits’ confidence and mental strength in overcoming the challenges before them. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego.
