Retired U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Damaso Sutis speaks on his experiences at the battle of Iwo Jima on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 24, 2018. February 19th marks the 73rd anniversary of the battle of Iwo Jima, which lasted from Feb. 19, 1945 to March 26, 1945.
