B-52 Stratofortess aircraft deployed from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., land at RAF Fairford, England, January 9, 2018. The 5th Bomb Wing deployed to RAF Fairford in support of bomber assurance and deterrence operations. The deployment of strategic bombers helps exercise United States Air Forces in Europe’s forward operating location for bombers.
