Spc. Justin Akley, a wheeled vehicle mechanic with Headquarters Support Company, 101st Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion “Gladiators”, 101st Airborne Division, tells us why he loves his job in the Army with a special Meet your Army video.
Akley, a resident of St. Louis, Missouri, continues to carry on a family tradition of military service. “My grandfather served for over 30 years, he retired as a full bird colonel in the United States Air Force,” said Akley.
Akley also said his choice to serve was influenced by various family members and his love for working with his hands.
