WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Nov. 16, 2017) Sailors from multiple commands conduct a three-day training exercise at Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NEMSCOM) on Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Yorktown-Cheatham Annex, Nov. 14-16, to prepare for Continuing Promise 2018. Sailors trained, constructed and equipped an Expeditionary Medical Unit during this pre-deployment exercise. CP 18 is sponsored by U.S. Southern Command, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command and U.S. 4th Fleet. Once the humanitarian mission kicks off, CP 18 support forces will conduct civil-military operations including, medical, dental and veterinary services in five separate Central and South American locations.
