Eileen Byrd, the Emergency Family Assistance Center Coordinator for the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, talks about the EFAC involvement in a recent mission between the 156th Airlift Wing, current Air National Guard augmentees, and emergency medical personnel and volunteers from the state of Michigan. She worked with Hector Martinez Waterford Regional Fire Department, Waterford, Michigan who spearheaded an effort to get relief supplies to his small hometown in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Her effort along with volunteers from the community and members of the Air National guard made this mission a success.
