140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard Photojournalist, Staff Sgt. Michelle Alvarez-Rea, covers Hurricane Maria's devastation in Puerto Rico, and the support that the National Guard provided in the immediate aftermath. Her story of covering the event for 30-days nearly immediately after the devastation, sheds a light on the realities of what the Guard does when tragedies like these strike, and what the people of Puerto Rico face in this time of recovery.
