Dawn Blitz 2017 is an amphibious exercise designed to train and integrate Expeditionary Strike Group 3 and 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade conducted Oct. 20-30, 2017. DB17 provides a robust training environment where forces plan and execute an amphibious assault and combined-arms event in a land and maritime threat environment to improve naval amphibious core competencies.
