USARCENT's Commander Lt. Gen. Michael Garrett talks about interoperability within various missions such as Exercise Bright Star and Iron Union. Bright Star took place on the 4-17 of September at Mohammed Naguib Military Base, Egypt. Exercise Iron Union is an ongoing exercise with the United Arab Emirates that also took place in September. Both Exercises focuses on strengthening partnerships across the area of operation.
