Fort Indiantown Gap – Approximately 500 soldiers assigned to the 28th Infantry Division Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, Pennsylvania Army National Guard are scheduled in early 2018 to deploy to the Middle East in support of Operation Spartan Shield. On Oct. 24 soldiers participated in pre-mobilization training in anticipation of this mission.
