Soldiers of the Swedish 2nd Brigade engaged Troops of the opposing force during a simulated battle Sept. 22-23, 2017 near Stockholm, Sweden. The Minnesota National Guard's 1st CAB - 194th Armor attached to The 12th Motorized Battalion played the foe as Swedish tanks and mech. infantry maneuvered across the country side.
Victories and defeat on both sides of this simulated battle between American and Swedish Forces Sept. 22-23, 2017 near Stockholm, Sweden. The employment of obstacles by the 12th skyttebataljonen stopped the opposing force in their tracks allowing tank and anti-tank units, to include Soldiers of 1-194 AR, to knock them out. The battle was ultimately won as overwhelming forces of the Skaraborgs Regiment and 2nd Swedish Brigade swept through their objectives.
