Personnel from U.S. Coast Guard Station Wrightsville Beach and Pender County 911 Communications Center discuss their partnership Sept. 21, 2017, in Wrightsville Beach and Burgaw, North Carolina. On July 23, 2017, Pender County 911 Communications Center personnel and Station Wrightsville Beach personnel responded to a mayday call of an overturned boat with five people aboard.
