After the Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport’s control tower was condemned, following Hurricane Maria, 16 members of the Mississippi Air National Guard took the helms of the airport with a mobile air traffic control tower. The tower, powered by generators, operates 24 hour a day ensuring personnel and supplies support military efforts.
