U.S. Marines with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marines on a Unit Deployment Program (UDP) train at the Jungle Warfare Training Center, Camp Gonsalves, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 3 through Sept. 15, 2017. Jungle warfare training provided the Marines with a wide spread of tactical skills on operating in a jungle environment to include rappelling, land navigation, and patrolling techiques.
