Video interview with U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jason Kelly, a flight surgeon with the 60th Medical Group headquartered at Travis Air Force base, Calif., during which he talks about the medical assistance he and other members of the relief efforts are providing from an airport in St. Croix to evacuated patients from St. Thomas due to the impacts of Hurricane Irma that hit the two islands earlier this week. Department of Defense personnel are providing support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. lead in helping those affected by Irma, and both agencies are just two components of a larger whole-of-government response effort.
