Sept. 8, 2017 The Florida National Guard continued to prepare for Hurricane Irma at Camp Blanding. The Emergency Operations Center was in full swing. Civilians aren't the only ones waiting in fuel lines as Soldiers waited in lines at the fuel point waiting to fuel their vehicles so they can head out on their missions. while over at Cecil Field near Jacksonville soldiers loaded Two C-130 Hercules cargo planes with 6 pallets each for a total of 12,000 boxes of MRE's (meals ready to eat) to be sent to Avon Park, Fla. so they can be given out to the Soldiers and Emergency workers helping Floridians recover. the c-130 cargo planes were provided by the Kentucky and Missouri National Guards.
