On Monday, May 1st, Selfridge Air National Guard Base hosted a Public Townhall meeting at Clinton Macomb Public Library in Clinton Twp. Michigan. Macomb County Executive, Mark Hackel, and Selfridge ANGB Commander, Brig. Gen. John Slocum, briefed the audience on the current state of the base, upcoming events, and future plans; including the Centennial Open House & Airshow, and site visit for the F-35 base selection. In addition, local leaders, and members of the community had the oppertunity to ask questions of Brig. Gen. John Slocum, and a panel of 127th Wing leadership, in an open question and answer session.
