Winn Army Community Hospital pharmacy technician, Roger Lowe, is the 2016 U.S. Army Janelle M. Oakley Civilian Pharmacy Technician of the Year. The Oakley Award is given to recognize excellence in the practice of
pharmaceuticals by a civilian pharmacy technician in the U.S. Army Medical Command.
Lowe has supported the Winn beneficiaries and staff for the past 20 years
and has played an instrumental role in streamlining the pharmacy in the
discharge process at Winn. Photojournalist Zach Rehnstrom has his story.
