The local community, which includes a registered tribal population of about 7000 Native Americans, received help in July from the U.S. Army Reserve and Active Army medical professionals. For two weeks, Soldiers from the 7234th Medical Support Unit from Vallejo, CA and Soldiers from the 24th Medical Detachment out of Fort Bragg, NC, provided medical and dental services to the local populace.
