The local community, which includes a registered tribal population of over 5000 Native Americans, received help in July from the U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Navy medical professionals. For two weeks during their annual training, Soldiers from the 7221st Medical Support Unit from Newark, Delaware and Sailors from the 4th Dental Battalion
out of Marietta, Georgia, provided medical and dental services to the local populace.
