U.S. Air Force Reserve Airmen from the 512th Airlift Wing flew over 4,000 miles from Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, to Aviano Air Force Base, Italy, for a Total Force Integration training mission July 18-29. The 512th Logistics Readiness Squadron and the 512th Communications Operations Flight participated in the training, which paired Airmen with similar active duty units from Aviano. Not only did the training provide the 512 AW Airmen with opportunities to hone their skills in an international setting, it also allowed the Dover reservists to augment active duty squadrons and provide much needed assistance.
