The largest exercise of 2017 in the Black Sea region has come to an end. Saber Guardian included more than 25,000 service personnel from over 20 NATO Allies and partner nations. The US-led exercise was aimed at building readiness and improving interoperability. It took place across Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania.

Footage includes shots filmed during the rehearsal for the VIP or Distinguished Visitors (DV) day, plus shots from the day itself. Military personnel from Bulgaria, the United States, Greece, and Georgia took part in the live fire demonstration and DV Day closing ceremony. The footage includes Bulgarian Special Operations Forces storming a building and rappelling down ropes from a helicopter.
