US Paratroopers Conduct Air Assault Drills Over Bulgaria

At Bezmer Air Base in Bulgaria, members of the US 173rd Airborne conducted an air assault during Swift Response 2017. The exercise is part of a bigger US-led exercise called Saber Guardian, which includes more than 25,000 service personnel from over 20 NATO Allies and partner nations. It’s also being held in Hungary and Romania and is aimed at building readiness and improving interoperability.
Footage includes shots of the paratroopers falling from a US C-130 aircraft.
