Five Marines stationed on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, carried a Japanese woman down Mt. Fuji for 2 miles, July 3, 2017. The woman needed medical care because she appeared to be having a seizure. The Marines used their walking sticks and t-shirts to create a stretcher and moved as quickly as possible down the mountain. July 11, 2017, the Marines were awarded Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals for their heroic actions. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl. Deseree Kamm)
