(July 3, 2017) USNS Spearhead (T-EPF 1) and its embarked group of Sailors and civilian mariners pulled into Naval Air Station Key West for its first port call of Southern Partnership Station-Expeditionary Fast Transport 2017. SPS-EPF 17 is a U.S. Navy deployment, executed by U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, focused on subject matter expert exchanges with partner nation militaries and security forces in Central and South America.
